Often asked: what is kitting (definition)?
Kitting is the combination / assembly of several components that are packed and shipped as a set. For example a set consisting of a red, a blue and a yellow part. The logistics center receives these parts individually and puts them together in an order. Kitting is an extension of the simple set formation to include (more complex) assembly services and thus more extensive.
