In transport, the abbreviation KLT is used for small load carriers. A small load carrier is usually a solid transport container in which find several items of space and can be transported easier in this way. These storage boxes can be driven under by a smooth transport and are usually made of plastic or metal. The transport of many small individual pieces is thus significantly simplified since only the industrial container must be loaded. Most of these are subject to a standard and can be exchanged with each other. The supplier does not have to wait for the goods from the KLT containers brought, but simply takes the appropriate number of empty small load carriers again.
